Wings of Hope-NJ is much busier
this year than last. So far, as of May 1, 2004, we have taken 54
birds into our program. We have a very successful adoption and intake
program. Thanks to some great adopters, our turn over is rather
quick. Once the bird is vetted and deemed healthy, it is then
available for adoption. We do have a waiting list of
pre-approved applicants.
Many thanks to our volunteers who put donate countless hours from
their busy lives, to help birds in need. You are the reason WOH-NJ
is so successful. Keep up the good work, we couldn't do it
without you.

Wings of Hope-NJ is
pleased to announce that our founders Jannet and Leesa recently took
the Avian Specialist Seminar in Atlantic City, NJ. They are now in
the process of completing the home portion. Once that is complete,
they will be Certified Avian Specialists. The interest to b ecome a CAS
speaks highly of our desires to upgrade our knowledge and expertise as well
as increase the professionalism of our organization. Certification
shows that we are recognized as a professional in our field of avian rescue,
and that we have attained a certain level of professional development by
completing a series of programs. |
