Wings Of Hope New Jersey

Welcome

We originally started in Central New Jersey, but have now expanded to the Coastal North Carolina area as well. We provide rescue and sanctuary for a variety of avian exotics. We believe all animals deserve a permanent home and quality of care for their lifetime.

Wings of Hope-NJ Needs Your Help...
with Our Special Needs Fund to help those special birds

We are bursting at the seams with all types of birds! We have a variety of birds ready and patiently waiting for their loving, longtime homes.

Conures make great pets! They often love to sit on someone's shoulder and hang out while you go about your day. Just please be sure that they have clipped wings if you are going to have people coming in and going out of your doors. Given adequate attention, conures are loving little birds that are easy to train and thrive on their owners' companionship. As with other bird species, owners should make sure to provide safe areas for their conure to explore and investigate. Conures are not shy birds and will let you know if their needs are not being met. Their loud, shrill call is a tool that they use to bring attention to important situations, and many have been known to become excellent "watch dogs."

Check out our birds that are waiting to meet you, by clicking hereSome are hand-tame and some are not, but regardless these  parrots are a joy to come home to. Parakeets are usually very animated, quite intelligent, and love being around their family. These parrots often pack a lot of fun and energy into a small body. Read some more about some people's experiences with keets.

Our birds are disease tested and come with a cage, toys, and a small supply of food so that your bird can eat the same food that he or she did in their foster home. This helps to smooth your bird's transition into their new home.
