Wings of Hope-NJ is having a very busy summer again in 2005. So far, as of July 3rd, 2005, since our last update in the Spring 2005 Newsletter on May 21, 2005, we have taken an additional 22 animals into our program. We have a very successful adoption and intake program and thanks to some great adopters, our turn over is rather quick. Once the animal is vetted and deemed healthy, he or she is then available for adoption. We do have a waiting list of pre-approved applicants. So if there is a type of bird that you would like to give a forever home to, you just might want to start the process early and get approved and when a bird like you would like comes in, you will be able to meet him or her right away. |

We always have some really great animals available for adoption. We update the Petfinders site as needed, whenever a bird comes into our rescue and when adopted to their "Forever Home". Please check our our available animals at our Petfinders site. "Forever Homes" Olson who adopted Scarlett, Sanford who adopted Turk and Pretty Boy, Glenn who adopted Corey, DeAngelo who adopted Stanley, Kim S. who adopted Twister, Wilson who adopted Ollie Bear, Mount who adopted Molly, Niemira who adopted Rajah, the Macecsko family who adopted Snowey, the Andruela family who adopted Oscar, Lori Senior who adopted Jane, and Szabo who adopted Lulu and Bruno through our Screened With Love Program. Many thanks go out to all of you because we couldn't run a successful rescue without all of you! |
Wings of Hope-NJ is always in need of loving, committed families and individuals to provide foster care for our birds awaiting adoption. All that's required of a foster is you love the animal as if he or she were your own and make them available to meet prospective adopters. We will provide all necessary equipment, and pay for medical care. You will be giving love and security to a special animal at an often difficult time in his or her life. As a foster parent you will have one of the most important jobs in the WOH organization. It will be you who will spend the most time with your foster animal, and it will be your recommendations that will be primary in the selections of the right adoptive family. As you can see our foster team is critical to our success. |
